Caily tracks your loved one's health data over time so you can see patterns and trends rather than focusing on any single day's snapshot. This bigger picture view can be reassuring and help you have more informed conversations with your loved one's care team.
How to view health trends:
Open the Caily app and log in
Navigate to the Health History section on your dashboard
Select a category you want to explore — for example, eating, sleeping, or vitals
View the charts and graphs showing your loved one's data over time
Adjust the time frame to zoom in on a specific period or view a longer trend
What health categories can you track:
Eating — appetite and meal observations over time
Sleeping — rest patterns and sleep quality trends
Bathing and personal care — consistency and independence over time
Mobility — movement and transfer trends
Vitals — blood pressure, weight, temperature, oxygen saturation, and heart rate were tracked
Medications — refusals or notable medication observations over time
Outings and activities — engagement and participation trends
What the charts show:
Daily data points — each day's recorded information plotted on a graph
Averages — an overall picture of your loved one's typical patterns
Exceptions — data points that fall outside of the normal range are highlighted for easy identification
Trends — whether a metric is improving, stable, or declining over time
How to use health trends effectively:
Look for patterns rather than reacting to single data points — a one-off day is rarely cause for concern
Compare trends over weeks or months for the most meaningful picture
Use trends as conversation starters with the care team — for example, if you notice appetite has been lower over the past two weeks, mention it in a chat message
Celebrate positive trends — seeing improvement in mobility or engagement over time is genuinely good news worth acknowledging
